Selection of the conveyor belt material for edible film production by a continuous casting process

چکیده
Abstract The scaling up of the wet process and design a coating line to produce edible films, require consideration several factors such as, film formulation, drying kinetics selection suitable support material in which pour solution. This work aimed select most for construction conveyor belt fabrication films through process. surface properties starch film-forming solution were determined. Several commercial materials belts tested. spreadability adhesion mechanical behavior dry was evaluated peeling resistance. All tested showed good performance under operational conditions assayed obtain films. Finally, polyurethane band chosen due its appropriate lower cost.
